C. Improve the organisational conditions for multi- and interdisciplinarity

CIRCUS offers support that can improve the organisational conditions for cross-cutting research at Uppsala University.

For example, on request, we coach representatives of various centres and initiatives within the University whose remit involves cross-cutting research. Leading and developing cross-cutting initiatives in an organisation that is complex in other respects is challenging, and we can act as a partner to talk to at key moments.

We are also active in the Coordinator Club, which is an association of coordinators at various research centres with cross-cutting missions at Uppsala University. The Coordinator Club was created in 2022. CIRCUS also assists the central university administration in areas where the organisational conditions for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research at the University are concerned.
