Uppsala University works with both regularly recurring activities and specially targeted initiatives in its student recruitment. Behind this work lies a solid planning and strategy.
The main question is: How do we attract the right student into the right programme with the right conditions and expectations to succeed?
The Student Recruitment Unit at the Communications Division is here to support you in this process.
If you want our support
The Student Recruitment Unit is happy to assist, subject to availability, with targeted recruitment activities for individual programmes or subject areas. Our services is highly requested at certain times of the year, so we cannot guarantee support, but the earlier we recognise needs, the easier it is to plan for them.
We can assist with:
- Analysis of recruitment problems
- Strategic advice and development
- Adjustments to programme texts and course descriptions
- Simple video productions
- Social media and Google campaigns
However, we are not able to provide graphic design and layout services, but we can support you in liaising with the University's contracted advertising agency and printers.
Keep in mind that if marketing is to have an effect, it needs to start a few months before the application opens, so get in touch at least a few months before a production should be ready.
