Welcome reception
The Welcome Reception aims to provide a pleasant opportunity for new employees to meet colleagues and gain insight into the exciting activities at Uppsala University.

The next Welcome Reception will take place in the University main Building room IV, March 19 at 13.30 - app 16.30.

For international staff
University Management welcomes newly arrived international research and teaching staff, doctoral students, administrative staff and their partners to an official welcome, followed by a guided tour of the University Main Building and a dinner buffet.
Please note: This welcome reception is held in English.
The next Welcome Reception will be held on Wednesday the 18th of March 2026.
