Payment of salary

Normally, the following days apply for salary payments: Your salary is paid out on the 25th each month. If the 25th is on the weekend, salaries will be paid out on the closest weekday. If the 25th is on a Saturday, you will be paid on the Friday; if the the 25th is on a Sunday, you will be paid on the following Monday.

The University use Nordea (until 31 August 2023, from 1 September via Danske Bank) for all salary payments. In order for the salary to be deposited in your account, you must register your account details with the bank. If no details have been registered, your salary will be paid out via a payment notice sent to your home address as registered with the Payroll Unit in Primula.

Payslip

Your payslip is found by logging on to Primula web. It is not sent home by mail.

Extra payment of expenses and travel expenses

In addition to the normal payment in connection with salaries on the 25th of each month, payments of expenses and travel expenses are also done on the 5th and 15th of each month. When these dates occur on a Saturday/Sunday, the same principle is adhered to as with payments of salaries (see above).

How do I know that I have received an extra payment?

There will be a row on your salary specification with the text “Extra payment”; next to the text is a processing date. You will have received the extra payment to your bank account either on the 5th or the 15th (or closest weekday) following the processing date. The extra payment is shown as a deduction on your salary specification, since it must be settled against the amount in your travel case or expenses case, which will also appear on your salary specification. If the extra payment is not offset as a deduction, you would receive the amount twice, both with the extra payment and with the normal salary payment.

Change of address

If you change your address, it is automatically changed by the Swedish Tax Authorities [Skatteverket] into the payroll system Primula.
