Study councellor for the master's programme in mathematics and for exchange students
Kibret Sigstam is our study councellor for master students and exchange students.
- Book a phone or Zoom appointment with Kibret via the Faculty of Science and Technology’s booking system Time Center (appointments appear as Master’s Programme in Mathematics in the list when available).

- Kibret is based on floor 4, building 1. You are welcome to drop by for an informal visit when he is available, but as he is often booked with meetings or teaching, it is always best to make an appointment in advance if possible.
What can our study counsellors help you with?
Our study counsellors can support you if you:
- are considering starting a course or programme in mathematics
- need advice on course selection, study planning, or your degree project
- have questions about entry requirements or eligibility
- have concerns about your study situation (they are bound by confidentiality)
- would like to discuss your options and get advice about your future career
- are interested in studying abroad as an exchange student
- need support, encouragement, or advice when your studies feel challenging
- are thinking about changing direction in your studies
- are considering taking a break from your studies or withdrawing
