Application and registration
Forgot to apply on time?
Late applications for the autumn courses open the 13th of December. You apply through antagning.se. apply as soon as the late application opens, because late applications are chronologically prioritised.
Admitted? Remember to register!
Once you have been admitted to a course or programme you must register to start your studies. You will find more information on studentingången. Once you have activated you student account you will need to login to Ladok for students and register on your course(s) that you are studying this semester. To keep your spot you must register on Ladok at the latest on the 13th of January. You can reach Ladok and other important information via studentingången. After registration you should login to studium where you will find more information about your courses. Make sure you have submitted the correct email address in Ladok so that our emails will reach you.
Conditionally admitted?
If you have been conditionally admitted you need to strengthen your entry requirements at the start of the semester at the very latest, before you can register. Contact the study administration at the very latest by the 13th of January to ensure to keep your spot.

Placed on a waiting list?
If you are placed on a waiting list you will be contacted by the study counsellors via email or telephone if you can be offered a spot. We use the contact details that you have provided on antagning.se at the time of application. We start admission from wating list the 14th of January at the earliest. We do not have a roll call, instead reach out via email or by telephone. Admission from wating list is on going between the 14th of January to the 19th of January. Remember to check your spam folder during the admission from waiting list. At the time of offer in regards to a spot from admission from waiting list you will need to reply at the latest by the date specified in the email.
Admitted with a late application?
If you are admitted with a late application you have to register yourself on the course on Ladok within the registration period, at the latest 13th of January. If you get admitted with a late application after the registration period you will need to contact the course administration:

Semester start
The semester starts 20th of January. In studium you will find more information about your courses in the autumn. If you are newly admitted to the social work programme, you will receive a welcome email from us with information about the semester start. It is easy for email to end up the your spam folder, so please check it regularly.
If I have a disability, what can I do to receive support?
If you have a permanent disability that will be an obstacle in the studies you can receive support during you time in university. Remember to apply for pedagogical support in good time, preferably at the time of application to Uppsala university. Here is more information: Pedagogical support for you who is studying. Once you received a decision about adaptation you contact the department’s study guidance.
