About the course
The course begins with project work and a six-day field trip to our field station by Lake Erken (80 km east of Uppsala). Here we put special emphasis on the planning and conducting of an ecological study. You will practice statistical methods and give presentations, both orally and in writing. The course continues with a theoretical part (six weeks) that includes lectures, literature seminars and computer labs on behavioural ecology, plant ecology, population dynamics and food webs.
