About the course
The course establishes the relation of standard canonical quantisation formalism for field theories to path-integral quantisation. During the course, you will also be familiarised with some basic concepts in quantum field theory such as path-integral quantisation, regularisation and renormalisation. Examples and applications from material science and high energy physics.
