About the course
In this course, you get to learn about nuclear synthesis in stars. This is done by studying thermonuclear reactions, generation of solar neutrinos, nuclear structure and the Big Bang nucleosynthesis. The structure and evolution of stars will be covered together with nuclear burning and heavy element nucleosynthesis. You will also be familiarised with the chemical evolution of galaxies, supernovae and the concept of nucleocosmochronology.
