About the course
This course examines treaties and verification regimes for nuclear weapons and scientific methods to detect and verify nuclear tests. You will learn analysis of remote signatures such as seismic, hydroacoustic, infrasound, and radionuclide data, as well as the processes behind atmospheric radioactivity. The course covers measurement techniques for radioactive particles and gases, statistical data evaluation, and tools for modelling atmospheric transport of emissions.
