A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. Also required is Introduction to Sustainable Destination Development. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
The course introduces the conceptualisation and categorising of nature-based resources, services and values as a basis for outdoor recreation and nature tourism. The course addresses and reviews relevant concepts and methods as well as different studying management systems in the context of sustainable nature-based destination development.
