Entry requirements

120 credits of which at least 60 credits within science. 25 credits in organic chemistry including Organic Chemistry II or Preparative Organic Chemistry and including NMR Spectroscopy I or Spectroscopic Methods for Organic Chemistry. Admission requires a project plan accepted by the department. Also required is basic knowledge and skills in laboratory safety, which will be tested via interview. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course

The course is offered for students with robust knowledge in organic chemistry, who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in experimental organic chemistry. The course starts with an introduction to the research field and the specific research project and continues with a planning phase. The project itself then involves laboratory elements with regular discussions with the supervisor at the responsible department.
