About the course
The course covers different biomaterials that are used in regenerative medicine. Basic concepts: synthetic polymers vs. naturally occurring polymers, ceramics and metals, material properties, function and use permanent vs. biodegradable materials biomechanics, analytical techniques for characterisation of materials.
