About the course
This course deals with the importance of chemical energy storage and the basic function of devices for electrochemical energy conversion. It also discusses fundamental energy storage and conversion concepts, focusing on lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, and fuel cells. Safety aspects, choice of materials, and experimental methods for the analysis of the devices are also included.
