About the course
The course gives you an advanced understanding of how to use physical-chemical methods and theories to explain the properties of organic molecules and the reactions and other processes in which they take part. It also covers applications spanning from enzymology to the design of organic energy materials. We discuss, for example, stereochemistry, determination of reaction mechanisms, catalysis, reactive intermediates, conductive polymers, organic photochemistry and computational organic chemistry.
