About the course
Molecular and statistical mechanics provide a theoretical foundation that is applied in various types of computational biochemistry, such as molecular dynamics and free energy calculations for simulations of biomolecules, ligand-binding processes, or catalytic reactions. These methods are used, for example, in virtual screening of inhibitors in drug development.
