About the course
In this course, you learn the basics of meteorological observations, ranging from performing manual weather observations, including cloud classification, to the analysis of global observation data. In this course, you also learn how to present meteorological information, both orally, in the form of presentations, and written in report form. As a data analysis tool, we use MATLAB. For example, you will learn to work with the output from climate models and to select the representative way to present them in such e.g.in spatial/geographical form. Review and discussion of relevant scientific articles in seminars is also an important part of the course.
