About the course
Environmental challenges are among the most pressing issues of our time. This course provides important insights into how societies interpret and manage various environmental changes and the risks they entail. Drawing on current geographical research, the course focuses particularly on global warming and how it affects living conditions and resource use in different types of environments, as well as how global warming is incorporated into political programs and visions.
The course is aimed at those with an interest in environmental research or in professions focused on urban and regional planning, environmental monitoring, sustainable resource use, or policy development.
