About the course
The course deepens your knowledge of qualitative research approaches and develops your ability to practically apply qualitative methods to investigate geographical research questions. It also provides an advanced understanding of current methodological debates within the field.
The course is aimed at students interested in developing their ability to analyze how places, landscapes, and spatial contexts shape, and are shaped by, people’s interpretations, experiences, and social relations. It serves as preparation for the independent thesis work, while also offering insights and skills relevant for professions focused on, for example, spatial planning, local community development, and social inclusion.
