A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) within the social sciences including at least 30 credits in sociology.
Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous upper secondary or university studies in some countries. About the course
The course gives you advanced insight into classical and contemporary sociological theories of social exclusion and how these perspectives are applied in current research. You examine the processes and structures that produce boundaries between included and excluded groups, whether linked to citizenship, ethnicity, gender, ability, age or other factors. The course also analyses how exclusion manifests across different social domains, including health care, housing and civil society.
