About the course

This is an advanced course in neuroscience covering molecular, cellular and integrated aspects of brain functions in healthy and diseased brains. Established knowledge of the nervous system is reviewed and discussed in the light of current neuroscientific research. Part of the course will focus on pathophysiological mechanisms that may occur in diseased brains or after brain injury and the strategies that may be employed in order to restore function.
