About the course
The course deals with various aspects of modern social conditions in English-speaking countries, with an emphasis on the US and the UK.
Teaching is normally scheduled for late afternoon, 16:00-18:00. The courses in Practical English do not qualify for English B1.
Outline for distance course: The distance course is based on self-study and teaching in a web-based learning environment. This contains all information regarding the course and is used for the compulsory course activities. Teaching takes the form of study instructions, exercises and discussions. Access to a computer with an internet connection is a requirement. All teaching and examinations are done online. There may be scheduled obligatory online meetings. Please note that a distance course requires as much effort as an ordinary campus course and that it is equally important to meet set deadlines.
