About the course
This course introduces you to language corpora as a resource for linguistic analysis. The course presents a survey of existing English-language corpora and teaches the use of a variety of corpus tools. You learn the central concepts and methods of corpus linguistics by performing a number of investigations into the lexis and grammar of English.
