About the course
The course provides in-depth knowledge of several central and current issues in French syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. French naturally remains at the core of the course, and you will work with French-language examples and engage with linguistic theories developed within the French tradition of language studies. In this way, you will not only explore the language itself but also enhance your language proficiency through the study of original scholarly literature in French, participation in seminar discussions, and the submission of written assignments.
