About the course
The consumer revolution was a milestone in the history of Early Modern Europe. By analysing consumption and material culture from socioeconomic and cultural angles, you will get advanced insights into Early Modern society. Throughout the course, attention will be paid to gender and class aspects, including questions of economic development, identity and status manifestation. You will also have the opportunity to work with historical sources.
