A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. Proficiency in English equivalent to the general entry requirements for first-cycle (Bachelor's level) studies.

About the course
The course is based on the study of musicological texts that have made an impact on the discipline. The readings alternate between the different academic years when the course is given and may be drawn from different subdisciplines, such as historical musicology, music theory, ethnomusicology or aesthetics.
