Entry requirements

120 credit points with at least 60 credit points or equivalent in a computer science related subject.

Learning outcomes

The aim of this course is to provide practical knowledge in how one applies theories from human-computer interaction in the process to develop prototypes and system that focuses on usability;

The student should be able to explain and apply the usability concept in specification -, design and evaluation work;

The student should be able to account for, categorise and compare different software engineering models and justify and defend its choices orally and in writing;

The student should be able to create their own software engineering models, roles and processes that support usability.
