Learning outcomes
After completing this course the student should be able to
- identify, classify and analyse geological field data
- link these data to appropriate environments of earth Science
- collect relevant data in the field
- treat and interpret such data, and present analyses to potential employers and in scientific contexts
Content
Mapping or equivalent field work in an environment appropriate for the scientific field. Compilation of maps, eventual profiles and interpretations in a report. Training in communication is an integrated part of the course.
Instruction
Lectures, field work and practicals.
Assessment
Written report with maps, diagrams and description/interpretation.
Other directives
The field course will cause costs for travel and accommodation for the student.
