Learning outcomes
To pass, the student should be able to:
- analyse and evaluate an issue within one area i computer networks
- compile and analyse information gathered from scientific literature, and synthesise and present this
Content
The students will apply individually chosen theories from a research area in computer networks. The theories will be of the type that traditionally are applied to advanced computer network courses, and they will be applied in a practical project and a written report, or possibly only in a more substantial report.
Instruction
For the theoretical part, the teaching consists of a small number of lectures and seminars. Other than that, the teaching mostly consists of supervision of project groups and essay teams.
Assessment
A written report or construction of a prototype depending on which issue to explore.
Other directives
The course can not be counted towards graduation together with 1DT077 Wireless communication and networked embedded systems.
