Entry requirements
For admission to the course, 135 passed credits are required. All oral, written and practical examinations in physiotherapy from earlier semesters must be passed.
Learning outcomes
Aim of the course is to give the student possibility to deepen and develop his/her clinical skills within an optional area of activity.
On completion of the course, the student should, within chosen area of activity, be able to:
SKILLS AND ABILITY
1. Acquire and apply knowledge and skills in examination, treatment and evaluation methods
2. Work ergonomically and with good safety for the patient
3. Document in medical record
EVALUATION ABILITY AND ATTITUDES
4. Interact with relatives and staff
5. Analyse and evaluate clinical conduct in relation to evidence and best practice i.e. clinical reasoning
Content
The course comprises 7.5 HE credits clinical placement and contains:
Methods for examination, preventive and treatment measures and evaluation clinically applied for individual patients and groups.

Individual supervision when planning, implementing, following-up and assessing tasks during the clinical placement
