Instruction
Individual work is supported through supervision, group discussions and seminars. At a number of seminars the work is discussed with other students. A senior seminar leader is also participating at the seminars.
Assessment
The project plan is examined by an examiner and must be approved before the degree project is started. At final review, the degree project is reviewed by external reviewers and graded by an examiner. The essay is defended at a public seminar. To review another student's degree project is also included in the examination.
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the University's disability coordinator.
Other directives
You should register your essay in the Digital Scientific Archive (DIVA), either abstract/summary or the full essay. This must be done before registration of the course can be done.
