Aims
This course will explain the materials of tomorrow.
Content
The course starts with a materials overview. The shape, the microstructure and chemical bonding and how the affect the properities of the material is discussed. The importance of the surface and how it affects the properties of tomorrows materials will also be discussed.
Instruction
Lectures, Internet, seminars, "conference meeting".
Assessment
Conference type of examination (assigned 2 points) and a written test at the end of the course (assigned 3 points).
