Aims
By taking this course the student is to acquire basic knowledge in mass transfer and its application in different separation processes.
Content
Basic mass transfer and its application in distillation, gas absorption, extraction and leaching, ion exchange, crystallisation and membrane separation processes.
Instruction
Lectures, lessons, laboratory work, educational visits in industries.
Assessment
Examination is arranged during and/or at the end of the course. Laboratory work and other compulsory assignments must also be presented and approved.
