Aims
The aim of the course is to give practical knowledge of estimations of runoff from natural catchments as from catchments under human impact.
Content
Theories of runoff formation. Methods for calculating runoff from natural catchments and paved surfaces. Dynamic-wave calculations. Statistical methods. Runoff modelling. Dimensioning flows. Urban hydrology. Transport of pollutants in surface waters.
Instruction
Lectures, lessons and computer exercises.
Assessment
Written examination with problems and theory questions at the end of the course.
