Standard qualifications E.3 or corresponding knowledge.
Aims
Through the course the student should get the knowledge and skills in computer aided design with Pro Engineer. The student shall also get knowledge in the field of drawings to be able to read and produce drawings according to the industry standard.
Content
Basics of 3D CAD: modelling, assemblies and drawings with Pro Engineer. Basic terms of drawings: Lines, scales, views, sections, dimensioning, tolerances and surface finish. Assembly drawing and detail drawing.
Instruction
Lectures, lessons, computer exercises, assignments and project.
Assessment
Written theory test and practical test using a computer at the end of the course. To finish the course a approved project is also required.
