Aims
To provide advanced knowledge of mechanical design principles and to develop the ability to systematically tackle and solve construction problems with respect to both customer and industrial engineering conditions.
Content
Practise of design methodology and development of creativity. Project management. Skills in applied mechanical design is trained through project assignments.
Instruction
Lectures, class sessions, seminars and project assignments.
Assessment
Theoretical examination 2.5 credits. Project assignments, 2.5 credits.
