Aims
To give knowledge of the main concepts in the
area and of important models and methods for
planning and analysis of clinical experiments.
Content
Cross-over trials and other important experimental designs. Parametric and non-parametric analysis. Treatment of prognostic variables, analysis of covariance, repeated measurements, dimensioning.
Instruction
Lectures and problem solving sessions.
Assessment
Written and possibly oral exam at the end of the course. Mandatory assignments and computer exercises
may be part of the examination.
