Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
• Show an in-depth theoretical knowledge of the chosen subject within the field of molecular medicine
• Compile, critically analyse and evaluate relevant scientific literature within the chosen field of research, in correspondence to the given time frame
• Critically evaluate and account for current theories, methods and techniques within the research field, their execution and application
• Formulate own conclusions based on a synthesis of reviewed research data
• In good English and according to instructions, compile the relevant literature into a written review
Content
The course aims to provide opportunities to further individual in-depth studies of research fields in molecular medicine. The work includes compilation, critical assessment and evaluation of relevant literature, obtained through searches in library, databases and web-based sources. The work will be presented in a written review, providing an updated overview of the research field, including own/personal conclusions and reflections.
Instruction
Independent work under supervision, after application and approval of the chosen subject by the program director.
Assessment
To pass, the written review must be completed according to instructions and approved.
