Entry requirements
Meteorology, Hydrology and Environmental Measurement Techniques (1TV015), 15 credits.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should:
- be able to use MATLAB to analyse climate data from reanalysis products and climate models
- have knowledge about how to present analyses of meteorological observations, weather forecats and climate data for different groups
- have skill to perform manual meteorological observations
- be abale to present the meteorological observation network and its role in the forecastprocess

Written project report ( 2 credits), oral presentations and seminars (3 credits).
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
