Entry requirements: 120 credits with 60 credits in computer science, including Introduction to Parallel Programming. Functional Programming is recommended. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
The course covers different models for concurrency and parallel programming. We study the strengths and weaknesses in different models and how well suited they are for solving different problems. During the course, you will encounter different programming languages illustrating these models. You will work in a project where one model is studied in more detail.
