About the course
Molecular physics including molecular orbital theory and electronic structure for small to large-sized molecular systems; molecular interactions and coupling molecular physics with thermodynamics and electrochemical properties; selected spectroscopic methods for fundamental and applied molecular physics; simulation methods for molecular systems; structure and function of larger systems, e.g. biomolecules, clusters and nanomaterials; functional molecular surface layers as used in e.g. batteries, solar cells and for artificial photosynthesis; Two dimensional quantum crystals for nanoelectronic and spintronic applications.
