One of the following is required: (1) 60 credits of which at least 40 credits in chemistry including 10 credits in organic chemistry and 5 credits in biochemistry, or (2) 60 credits of which at least 40 credits in biology, together with 10 credits in organic chemistry and 5 credits in biochemistry, or (3) 60 credits within the Upper Secondary School Teacher Education Programme of which at least 30 credits in chemistry including 10 credits in organic chemistry and 5 credits in biochemistry.
If you are not a citizen of a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) country, or Switzerland, you are required to pay application or tuition fees. Formal exchange students will be exempted from tuition fees, as well as the application fee. Read more about fees.

About the course
Chemical structure and molecular organisation of biological systems. Structure and evolution of proteins. Biochemical toxicology. Immunoglobulins and immunological analysis methodology. Design of protein function. Membrane topology and membrane transport, chemiosmotic coupling. DNA as a major source of information. Experimental methodology: analytical and preparative separation methods.
