In the first clip Uppsala Anthropologist Sten Hagberg introduces the theme of female leadership in West Africa as well as the newly published "FEMMES DE DEVANT!".COMBAT DU LEADERSHIP FÉMININ AU BURKINA FASO" in Uppsala Papers in Africa Studies 6.
In the second clip Burkinabe Anthropologist Adjara Kokonbo presents case sudies from Yako and Fada N'Gourma in Burkina Faso, followed by Malian Anthropologist Bintou Koné, who talks about her research on women's political participation in Burkina Faso and Mali.
In the third and fourth clip, LACET members and other participants engage in discussion and debate.
