About Centre for Integrated Research on Culture and Society (Circus)

Major societal challenges often require insights from several academic disciplines. Uppsala University is a broad and diverse university, well equipped to meet unforeseen challenges and opportunities. An enhanced capacity for multi- and interdisciplinary cooperation does not increase the breadth of the University, but it does expand what we can do with the breadth the University already has.

CIRCUS is a university-wide platform for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research at Uppsala University. The aim is to support new ways to collaborate within the University.
