Organisation

The Board of CIRCUS consists of five members from Uppsala University, two external members and one student representative. Three of the five members from Uppsala University come from the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences, with one each from the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Disciplinary Domain of Science and Technology.

The members of the board from 2024 are:

• Carl Fredrik Bergström, Professor at Department of Law
• Erika Boije, student representative, PhD student at Department of Theology, Church History and Mission History
• Johan Fritzell, Professor at Aging Research Center (ARC), Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University
• Orsi Husz, Professor at Department of History of Science and Ideas (Deputy chair)
• Hans Lennernäs, Professor at Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences
• Christina Olin-Scheller, Professor at Karlstad University
• Carina Schlebusch, Professor at Department of Organismal Biology

On 1 April 2020, the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences appointed members to CIRCUS’s International Advisory Board.

The members of the International Advisory Board are:
