UGA:01 - Materials for energy conversion
This research group at Department of Physics, Makerere University has received ISP support 1989-2025. The activities were coordinated by Dr Denis Okello.
The group is still an active member of the ISP supported MSSEESA network.
Objectives
The main objective of the group is to study properties of thin films (optical, magnetic and electrical).

UGA:02 - Astronomy and space science
ISP supported to this research group at Department of Physics, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST), in 2013-2025. The activities were coordinated by Dr Edward Jurua.
The group is still an active member of the ISP-supported EAARN network.
Objectives
The main objective of the group is to build research capacity in astrophysics and space science in Uganda.
