Research expertise and methodologies

Nguyen Thanh's methodological expertise spans epidemiological study design and analysis, evidence synthesis and policy analyses. He is also proficient in causal inference methods, natural language processing and machine learning for evidence synthesis, building reproducible analytical pipelines in R and Python.

Ongoing research projects

The BRIDGE-ABR project is part of the Uppsala University Conflicting Objectives Nexus (UUniCORN). Led by ReAct Europe in collaboration with the Stockholm Resilience Centre, the project systematically maps and analyzes synergies and trade-offs between antibiotic resistance (ABR) mitigation objectives and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It also aims to strengthen the research-to-policy interface and support the development of integrated, context-appropriate solutions, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
