Biography
In April 2022, I defended my PhD in Ethics with a dissertation on truth commissions as institutions of transitional justice, in which I critically examined the normative assumptions underlying their work.
I am currently a lecturer and researcher at the National Centre for Women’s Peace (Nationellt centrum för kvinnofrid), where I also teach in the Master’s Programme in Human Rights.
Research
My previous research has focused on transitional justice and reconciliation processes. My current research interests include gender-based violence, migration, and human rights.
At present, I am conducting a research project on how work against honour-based violence is organised across the Nordic countries and the implications of these organisational approaches.

During October–November 2025, I am Visiting Research Fellow at Goethe University Frankfurt (Johanna Quandt Young Academy). During this fellowship, I work on the project "Are Migrant Women Especially Vulnerable to Gender-Based Violence? Reassessing the Concept of Vulnerability": Goethe-Universität — Willkommen an der Arbeitsstelle Sozialethik im Gesundheitswesen
