Short presentation
My PhD is part of the project Gotlands Sustainable Energy System Transition, where I will focus on the sources of renewable energy on and around Gotland. The core of my research is the simulation of the aerodynamics in wind farms. My main interest in this area is the development of fast, high-fidelity simulations via the Lattice Boltzmann Method. These simulations can then be used to study novel control strategies for wind farms, to improve efficiency or increase the lifetime.
