Short presentation
I am a PhD candidate in didactics, focusing on how teaching can foster the development of students’ intercultural competence as part of the school’s democratic mandate. I research how various didactic practices within social science can promote social cohesion in an increasingly pluralistic society. The aim is to enhance students’ political and social tolerance towards immigrants, in light of the prevailing attitudes that pose a significant challenge to societal cohesion in Sweden.
